Tim Collins - Political Counsel

Founder - GHE Limited

Tim specialises in political counsel and advice. He has advised political leaders on four continents plus major global and UK businesses in multiple sectors.

During his political career, Tim was Press Secretary to Prime Minister John Major, Director of Communications for the Conservative Party, an MP, and a member of the Shadow Cabinet under three successive Tory leaders.

Peter Wilson-Smith - Government & Policy

Founder - Meritus Consultants

Peter advises clients on engaging with government, policymakers and the media across a range of sectors. He has particular expertise in financial services and regulatory matters.

Before Meritus he spent a decade at Quiller Consultants, after a career in publishing and the media. He was a founder of Financial News and worked at the BBC, The Times and Telegraph. He is a board member of the Salzburg Global Seminar and chair of the Oxford School of Drama.

Greg Wood - Media Consultant & Coaching

Independent Consultant - Greg Wood Media Consultants

Greg Wood provides media coaching and training. He is a former journalist and broadcaster with 25 years’ experience as a TV and radio correspondent and presenter for the BBC, ITN and Channel 4, including several years as the Business Presenter on the BBC’s flagship Today Programme.

He was also the BBC’s Correspondent in New York during the collapse of Lehman Brothers and the financial crisis of 2008/9. Greg later became Director of Group Media Relations at Centrica, Britain’s biggest energy supplier, where he held the lead responsibility for communication on all aspects of the Group’s performance and reputation.

He gets feedback on these perspectives from those who know the leader well. The next stage is to build a plan for the leader’s career in the short, medium and long term.
