After reading English at Lincoln College, Oxford and spending five years in the army, where he served in The Life Guards, he went into the world of corporate and financial communications. The majority of his career was at Brunswick where he was a partner for 16 years and on the group management board. In 2007 he became a Partner at Tulchan Communications and in 2014 was appointed Chairman of the Bell Pottinger financial division. He founded Vico in September 2017.
A lover of orchestral music and opera, he is a Trustee of British Youth Opera, one of the country’s foremost opera training companies, and on the Development Board of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. He has a keen interest in the equestrian world where roles have included being a long time trustee of World Horse Welfare and a Director of Wincanton racecourse.
